Meet The Doctor
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Jeffrey C. DaBell, DMD, MD
Dr. DaBell is a native of Pocatello, ID and was so excited when the opportunity presented itself for him to return to his hometown. Dr. DaBell graduated from Highland High School and attended Idaho State University before enrolling in dental school at Case Western Reserve University. While in dental school, Dr. DaBell was inducted into the OKU dental fraternity for academic excellence. After completing his dental training and receiving his dental degree (DMD),he began his residency in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the University of Nebraska Medical Center. The oral and maxillofacial surgery program at the University of Nebraska differs from many other programs as it is a dual degree program, which requires medical school as part of their training and he was awarded a medical degree (M.D.) in 2008. Another somewhat unique quality of the residency program in Nebraska was the scope of treatment that is carried out in the program. He received a very thorough training in dento-alveolar (teeth) surgery, implant dentistry, orthognathic (corrective jaw) surgery, facial cosmetic surgery, oral pathology (diseases of the face and mouth), as well as reconstructive surgery.
Dr. DaBell has hospital privileges at Portneuf Medical Center, Bingham Memorial Medical Center, and at Skyline Surgery Center.
He is also actively engaged in education and enjoys teaching at I.S.U. on a monthly basis.
Dr. DaBell is married to a wonderful wife and they have four children.Dr. DaBell loves the outdoors, playing sports, and spending time with his family.
